Titan Media App reported on August 29. On the evening of August 29, ST Omar disclosed that because TCL Home Appliances was suspected of violating securities laws and regulations in the process of acquiring the company, the China Securities Regulatory Commission decided to file a case against it. ST Omar pointed out that the above situation will not affect the company's control. The company will continue to pay attention to the progress of the above-mentioned matters, and perform information disclosure obligations in strict accordance with regulatory requirements. TCL Home Appliances also disclosed an announcement saying that TCL Home Appliances received the "Notice of Filing a Case" issued by the China Securities Regulatory Commission. It is understood that Li Dongsheng took control of the listed company from the original actual controller Zhao Guodong in May 2021 because he was attracted to ST Omar's refrigerator business. Due to ST Omar's reputation as the king of "refrigerator exporters" and the market popularity of Li Dongsheng and his TCL home appliances, this change of ownership also attracted much market attention at that time.
