Tesla did not provide vehicle sales figures for each of its major markets when it released its second-quarter earnings report, but the company’s final and full June data for the European market has now been disclosed. Electric vehicles include pure electric vehicles (BEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV). Since Tesla doesn’t make PHEVs, it has a higher market share in the BEV segment than in all EV segments. According to the statistics of pure electric vehicles, Tesla’s market share in Europe still fell by more than 50%. Compared to the first quarter, Tesla’s sales in Europe fell 56% in the second quarter, from 59,502 to 26,154. (Zhitong Finance)
