1. Work objectives
Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, especially General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important thought on building a country through the Internet, we will comprehensively and thoroughly clean up Internet rumors and false information, and strive to solve the problem of repeated spread of old rumors and endless emergence of new rumors. Improve and improve the whole process of monitoring, discovery, refutation, and disposal work norms, compact the main responsibility of the website platform, and get through the “last mile” of rumor management. Increase the punishment of rumors and rumors, investigate and expose typical cases, form a strong deterrence, squeeze the living space of online rumors and false information to the maximum extent, and create a clear online environment.
2. Tasks
Adhere to the combination of content management, behavior management, and subject management, focus on key platforms, key links, and key sections where problems occur frequently and frequently, effectively intensify efforts to clean up and rectify, establish and improve a normalized governance mechanism, continue to maintain high-pressure and strict management, and ensure special rectification. (1) Adhere to classified research, judgment and disposal. (4) Consolidate the main responsibility of the platform. First, do a good job in stock disposal, supervise the website platform to implement management requirements, and investigate and dispose of identified rumors and false information as soon as possible to prevent repeated spread. Guide the platform to establish a sample database, update and improve it in a timely manner, use technical means to compare and match, and do a good job in interception and disposal. The second is to do a good job of incremental containment, strengthen daily monitoring and analysis, take the initiative to verify the information from non-authoritative sources with great influence and wide dissemination, identify and deal with it in a timely manner, and strive to eliminate new rumors and false information in the bud. The third is to strengthen the monitoring and reporting of online rumors and false information clues, and the website platform will conduct routine monitoring and clue collection on a regular basis, and report them in a timely manner as required. Fourth, key website platforms should set up special reporting portals for online rumors and false information, refine the classification standards, mobilize the majority of netizens to actively report, and provide extensive evidence and clues.
3. Job requirements
(1) Improve ideological awareness. All local cybersecurity and informatization departments should fully recognize the importance of launching a special campaign against online rumors and false information, and make careful deployment, careful organization, and solid progress.
