 Titanium Media App reported on July 28 that TSMC held a beaming ceremony at its Fab 21 factory in Arizona, USA on July 27, local time. This means that the infrastructure of the factory is almost complete, and the next job is to install the equipment and commission it. TSMC announced the news on its official LinkedIn account and posted that it is bringing the most advanced semiconductor technology to the United States on time and on schedule. According to TSMC's plan, this chip factory will be officially mass-produced in 2024, with a monthly production capacity of about 20,000 wafers in the first phase, mainly based on the 5nm process, which will be the most advanced semiconductor process in the United States.
