Titanium Media App reported on August 28 that DoorDash, an American food delivery platform, reported a data breach affecting the company’s customers and delivery staff on Thursday, local time. The incident stemmed from a phishing attack on a third-party supplier. The information that was read included customer names, email addresses, shipping addresses and phone numbers, order information and some payment card information, it said. In addition, the names, phone numbers or email addresses of staff were also leaked. DoorDash said in its post that only a "small percentage" of the information the company held was affected.
