Pinwan, June 9, today evening, NIO released its first quarter financial report for 2022. According to the report, NIO’s revenue in the first quarter of 2022 was 9.91 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 24.2% and a month-on-month increase of 0.1%; a net loss of 1.782 billion yuan and a net loss of 4.875 billion yuan in the same period last year.
Li Bin, founder, chairman and CEO of NIO, said that NIO reached a record quarterly delivery of 25,768 vehicles in the first quarter of 2022, and reached the milestone of more than 200,000 vehicle deliveries in May this year. Less than 4 years since first delivery.
Li Bin pointed out that NIO is expected to start delivering ET5 in September 2022. In addition, NIO will launch a new mid-to-large five-seat SUV ES7 based on NIO 2.0 technology (NT2.0) in June to further enrich the product portfolio, and delivery is expected to start in late August.
