Based on the Wujian 600 software and hardware full-stack platform, developers and manufacturers can quickly develop RISC-V chips, driving a new era of 2GHz high-performance RISC-V edge and cloud applications.

The RISC-V architecture is simple, flexible, and open, and has become one of the mainstream architectures in the industry. Although the development potential of RISC-V is huge, the related software and hardware technology and ecology are not fully mature. The application is mainly concentrated in the low-end IoT field, and the commercial breakthrough of high-performance chips has not yet been achieved.

Wujian 600 platform is the world’s highest RISC-V performance mass-produced SoC chip design platform: it supports 4-core high-performance RISC-V processors with a maximum frequency of up to 2.5GHz, realizing a comprehensive CPU+XPU heterogeneous architecture. Optimization; supports 64-bit LPDDR4X, with a maximum throughput rate of 4266MT; integrates 4TOPs of Int8 AI computing power; the whole process meets GP TEE international security standards. The Wujian 600 platform is expected to help chip companies significantly reduce chip development costs and risks, and greatly shorten the R&D cycle.

Based on the Wujian 600 platform, Brother Pingtou “proofed” the Shadow 1520, and its performance is sufficient to cover various scenarios such as edge computing, artificial intelligence, image recognition, and multimedia. At present, Yingying has been applied in Ali, and in the future, it can also be provided to developers who have not yet received customized chips. The system and software will be developed on Yingying in advance to further shorten the time for mass production of products.

On the Wujian 600 platform, Brother Pingtou, the Longli community and the PLCT laboratory of the Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences carried out joint optimization of the full stack of software and hardware, and completed the adaptation of more than 3,000 basic packages of RISC-V and Longli operating system, and For the first time, large desktop-level software such as FireFox browser and LibreOffice, as well as applications based on NodeJS and JAVA such as Hexo and Open Rocket, were run on the Shadow 1520, which greatly expanded the imagination of RISC-V.
