Gitlab forbids Microsoft Windows

Gitlab was found to have a company policy that prohibits the use of Microsoft Windows. Microsoft’s GitHub is Gitlab’s main competitor. Gitlab says it allows employees to use Linux and Apple’s macOS, while banning Windows on the grounds that it is the desktop system with the highest share, and thus a top target for spyware, viruses and ransomware. The security of Windows Home is difficult to guarantee and therefore does not meet corporate security guidelines. Apple’s computer is the first choice, and if you are familiar with Linux, you can also choose Dell’s Linux laptop.
