Nissan Motor China’s August sales, including the passenger car and light commercial vehicle business segments, were 99,570 units, down 12.0% year-on-year. Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd.’s (DFL) passenger vehicle segment (including Nissan, Venucia and Infiniti brands) sold 88,133 units, down 8.9% year-on-year and up 1.9% month-on-month. The light commercial vehicle segment (including Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. and Zhengzhou Nissan) sold 11,437 units, down 30.4% year-on-year.

  • Dongfeng Nissan ‘s sales of sedan and SUV models in August and January-August are as follows:
    • Nissan’s seventh-generation Teana ALTIMA (14,176 units sold) and the Sylphy series (43,810 units sold, up 12.1% MoM) drove sales growth of Nissan- branded sedan models this month. Nissan’s seventh-generation Teana ALTIMA from January to August (cumulative sales of 104,686 units, up 12% year-on-year) drove the growth of Nissan’s sedan models from January to August.
    • Total sales of Dongfeng Nissan’s SUV lineup , which includes the Nissan, Venucia and Infiniti brands, were 23,834 units in August. The Nissan Qashqai (15,358 units sold, up 15% year-on-year) had its best August sales record. Loulan, Qijun, Qashqai and Kicks all achieved month-on-month growth, driving the growth of Dongfeng Nissan’s SUV models this month.
    • Venucia V (3,072 units sold), Venucia D60 series (3,992 units sold), and Venucia D60EV (3,397 units sold, up 276% year-on-year) drove Venucia ‘s sales growth in August.
